This is a long time coming, but I’m so happy to announce that I will be expanding my writing genres and will now write in Young Adult Fiction aka books for teens (and let’s be real a lot of us adults read this genre, too!)
One project that I am excited about is my vampire slayer series. The tentative title is Soul of the Slayer, that will be published with Entangled Teen. I’ll add the official blurb (once approved) but its Buffy the Vampire Slayer meets Full Metal Alchemist. This will be a three-book series that will be published January 2023!
True confession: I’ve worked on this book off and on for ten years in February! It’s the first book I’ve ever attempted to seriously write and the first iteration was…awful. Yes, it was awful. And I was bold enough to pitch it to agents ten years ago. Then, I wised up, realized I needed to up my craft and in between that time I wrote three contemporary romances, two Women’s Fiction novels and now this YA Fantasy/Paranormal series.
My husband knows how hard I’ve worked on this, and actually had this art commissioned by Turned Ninja to celebrate my publishing deal with Entangled!
